What is the best purchase you have ever made?
I love watches- on wrists only. When I was a child, I used to wear less than $1 digital watches. But, there have been long periods of my adult life without a watch. The reason I gave to myself was essentially a materialist lesson- a watch is a jewellery these days afterall.
Sometimes after I got my first job, I was seduced to buy a watch. And I purchased a $20 CASIO digital watch in 2020, the COVID season. Explains my budget choice!
That watch is still going on. No battery changed yet nor any time slips. My gf broke its strap during a chore, but she got them fixed. I am happy!
